Who are we?

CodeCosmos is a spin-off from the minds of non-profit CodeFever. This Coding Academy has been teaching Belgian children aged 8 to 18 programming skills since 2015. CodeFever’s carefully crafted learning path has enabled over 6.500 children annually to progress from their very first lines of code in Scratch and Minecraft Education to mastering programming languages like JavaScript and Python.

With a decade of experience, we excel at sparking children’s enthusiasm for technology, simplifying complex concepts, and supporting parents and teachers in this learning journey.

Building on our proven methods, we created CodeCosmos: a cutting-edge platform featuring digital teaching packages tailored to young, aspiring programmers with no prior coding experience.

Our Mission

Our mission is to equip children with computational thinking skills. In today’s technology-driven world, we provide the tools to help children think creatively, logically and to solve problems effectively.

Through digital learning programs, we inspire children to go beyond being passive users of technology. Instead, we empower them to become creators and prepare them for a future where digital skills are vital.

Our methods

At CodeFever, we have guided thousands of children through extracurricular classes, witnessing their skills and confidence grow. Now, we’re bringing that same expertise and passion to the digital classroom with CodeCosmos.

We have developed two digital curriculums that are perfect for beginners:

  • Scratch: A globally recognised visual, block-based programming language designed specifically for children. With its intuitive and playful interface, Scratch makes learning the basics of coding both fun and accessible.
  • Minecraft Education: A specialised educational version of the world-renowned game, Minecraft. This platform encourages creativity and logical thinking in a 3D-world while teaching children to code and solve challenges in a familiar and engaging environment.
